Do you provide alcohol?
No, clients are responsible for purchasing and supplying all alcohol for their event. However, we are happy to guide you on how much to buy based on your guest count and menu.
Do you provide mixers, garnishes or cups?
It depends on the package selected:
The Quick Pour Package: Client provides all mixers, cups, ice, and garnishes.
The Signature Sip Package: Sip XO provides mixers and garnishes
The XO Celebration Package: We provide mixers, garnishes, cups, straws, barware, and more.

How far in advance to i need to book?
Booking windows vary by package: We do not accept last-minute or rush bookings
Quick Pour: At least 14 days in advance
Signature Sip: At least 21 days in advance
XO Celebration: At least 28 days in advance
How much is the deposit?
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due the day of the event, prior to service beginning.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Zelle, Apple Pay, CashApp, Visa
when using CashApp include your name, balance due and event date in the notes
Do you offer mocktail options?
Yes! Sip XO can create a stylish mocktail menu for guests of all ages. Let us know during booking.
Do you offer bartenders for festivals or public events?
Yes! Sip XO is available for public events, festivals, vendor activations, and more. Whether you’re planning a large-scale experience or partnering for a pop-up, we bring the same signature energy, professionalism, and curated drinks to every setting. What happens if my event runs longer than expected?
Overtime is charged at $60 per hour and must be paid before service continues.
Do you need electricity or refrigeration?
We do not require electricity for basic service. If your menu includes items that must stay chilled, access to ice or a cooler may be required.

Are your bartenders certified?
Yes! Sip XO bartenders are professionally trained, certified in responsible alcohol service, and fully insured.
Do you need a setup area?
Yes. We need access to your event site 1 hour before start time to set up and 1 hour after to clean up. This is included in your pricing. If you need to rent a mobile set up you can add it on your package.
Can I tip my bartender?
Yes, and it is always appreciated! You can tip in cash or electronically through out the event. Details will be provided by the bartender.
What if someone at my event is drunk?
Sip XO bartenders are trained to serve responsibly. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears visibly intoxicated or underage.
Can I change my package after booking?
Yes, upgrades may be possible depending on availability. Package changes must be requested no later than 14 days before your event.
Will I receive a contract or receipt?
Absolutely. Every booking includes a signed service agreement and detailed invoice for your records.
Do you travel outside the DMV area?
Sip XO currently services the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area (with a travel fee based on location). Travel outside of this area may require an additional fee. Please inquire with event details via our contact us page.
What’s the difference between your packages?
Quick Pour: pour only service - up to 75 guests with 1 bartender
Signature Sip: elevated service with mixers, garnishes, and classic drinks - up to 50 guests with 1 bartender
XO Celebration: Luxe, full-service experience with everything included - up to 100 guests with 2 bartenders

What’s your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 14 days in advance will receive a refund of the deposit minus a 25% service fee. Cancellations after that will forfeit the deposit.
Will you post my event on social media?
Possibly! Sip XO occasionally captures content for promotional use. If you’d prefer your event to remain private, just let us know in advance.
What happens if I forgot something?
We’ll send you a Prep Checklist before your event so you’re fully covered. But if something’s missing, we’ll do our best to improvise or recommend a quick solution.
